Turkish Sounds is committed to operating in accordance with copyright law, legal regulations, and platform policies throughout its music production and distribution processes. This page is intended to transparently outline the legal framework of the content published under the project.
Works released under Turkish Sounds fall into the following categories:
Reinterpretations of Turkish works considered anonymous or whose copyright term has expired, recreated through new arrangements, performances, and productions.
For such works, reasonable research is conducted to confirm their public domain status, and each reinterpretation is treated as a newly produced work.
Works whose lyrics, compositions, and arrangements are fully original, created either entirely by humans or with AI-assisted creative workflows.
Original compositions and atmospheric arrangements that combine traditional Anatolian instruments with modern and experimental sound structures.
Within Turkish Sounds projects, artificial intelligence is used strictly as a creative support tool.
AI does not function as a sole author of the final work; all outputs are shaped through human selection, editing, and artistic decision-making.
The resulting works maintain originality through arrangement, structure, and creative intent.
Content produced under Turkish Sounds may be distributed through digital music distribution companies for release on streaming platforms.
Accordingly:
The publishing, revenue-sharing, and rights definitions required by distribution companies and platforms may be accepted.
Where necessary, distribution partners may be granted publishing and revenue-sharing authorization.
Released works are subject to the terms, conditions, and content policies of the respective platforms.
